4/22/2021 Update: The coronavirus status in Monterey county is now orange.
My Massage practice is opening back up.

I have taken the Moderna Vaccine One and Two as of 3/30/2021. I keep my workplace sanitized and my bodywork tools sterilized. I have a waiting list for new customers, let me know if you want to apply by filling out the Massage Intake forms and other important documents. See my intake forms page.
My business hours are Monday-Friday. I do one session a day, 1-5pm. $100 per hour table time.

All customers are tested for temperature and must wear masks during massage sessions.

3/17/2020 Update: Due to the Coronavirus current conditions, my bodywork practice has closed as of 3/18/2020.This is for the safety of my customers and loved ones, and my own age and health considerations. I and grateful for all the wonderful people who have benefited from my skills.
We will have to wait and see when the coast is clear.

Imagine your body just locks up. You know what I'm talking about? For me it starts in my neck but affects my whole body. Think of it as being crammed in and then locked up in one of those black office safes, and no knows the combination. They know you're in there, but they can't get you out. Yes, there are a variety of practitioners who run their hands over the surface of the safe. These therapists help a lot of people, but they're not dealing with a body in lock up! You need a safe-cracker! Enter Aaron who before body work was a machinist. He taps the surface of the safe and sounds for the human inside, sending back a message of compassion: help is coming. He digs into a huge tool box for exactly the right implements. He whistles as he fiddles with the front dial. Hold your horses he says, this is going to take a few minutes! Then presto, the door swings open and a fully intact human emerges. Lock up is over. Sound miraculous? For Aaron it's all in a day's work. Try him out. Freedom will be your reward. Tom Lee

Aaron is one of the most amazing strong spiritual individuals I’ve come across in my path of life! His work is truly healing..I’ve now had 7 sessions with Aaron and many encounters for I’m his landscape help! I work hard and push my body to its limits and my first session with him I had a rotator cuff injury that was a year and a half long pain I though I needed surgery for and he fixed it in one amazing session! He’s guided an out of place rib back into place and has made my aching body like new again..I am truly grateful to have him as a friend in life and a true healing massage therapist! He’s very comfortable to be around and although we’re friends he’s strictly professional when it comes to our healing sessions..I highly recommend him to everyone who has pain in life or just needs to relax and have some time to pamper them selves! Aaron Maschmeyer is a good soul. He is not only gifted in the healing arts, but he is also warm, nurturing and has a fabulous sense of humor! He has worked on me at least twenty times and has always listened intently, worked with me as a partner, and made me laugh hysterically (we are cousins) in the healing process. He has been extremely instrumental in helping me recover from several sports related injuries that no amount of pain killers, muscle relaxers, exercises or stretches could touch. I highly recommend Aaron and Morning Star Bodywork. I have been seeing Aaron for 6 years and have received over 70 sessions. I had an athletic injury that needed surgery and after months of physical therapy it still wasn’t right. Aaron improved it from the first appointment and quickly got me back to full function.
Unlike some other massage therapists, he really is a medical professional that takes the time to learn your body and problem areas. He goes to work where you need it to relieve pain and disfunction. I’ve seen my trigger points and pain melt away after he works on them.
